Natural ageing or post-op recovery can make it difficult for an elderly loved one to look after themselves and do essential everyday tasks. Work and family commitments can make it difficult to for you to provide the optimum level of care and attention. Our carers are here to relieve the stress. We offer you the support of a trusted presence who can boost your loved one’s wellbeing and help them maintain a happy and independent home life.
How we help
We will assign your family a specialist carer to give your loved one the support they need, when they need it. This can range from short term care (daily to weekly 2-hour visits) to a full-time care program. Through physical and emotional support, dietary and medical advice, chore-doing and companionship, we ensure that your loved one stays positive, in control, and comfortable in their own home.
Professional home help takes the strain off family carers by assisting your loved ones with:
- Bathing and showering
- Dressing and grooming
- Continence care
- Medication reminders
- Grocery shopping
- Meal preparation
- Light exercise (walks)
Highly Trained Carers
You want the peace of mind of knowing that your loved ones are in safe hands – we make sure of this by choosing compassionate people as our carers and giving them comprehensive training. To begin, your carer will be qualified to a FETAC QQI Level 5 standard or more. She/he will also have graduated from our Mentoring Program, having received hands-on practical tuition from a Senior Carer. Carers also get to enhance their skills through relief work in the Beechfield nursing homes, learning techniques and systems developed over 25+ years of providing quality care for local families.
Beechfield Private Home Care is an accredited member of Home Care and Community Care Ireland (HCCI) who regularly validate our clinical and equipment processes by independent audits.
“So helpful and obliging in assisting with everyday tasks I am unable to do by myself.” – Jean, Cabinteely
